What Happens to My Data if I Cancel?
Your data stays
When you cancel your subscription:
- All stories remain in your account
- All recordings remain accessible
- All collections stay viewable
- No data gets deleted
What changes
- Paid features become locked
- Collections with collaborators become view-only
- Advanced AI features stop working
- Entity recognition stops updating
Canceling vs Deleting
Canceling your subscription:
- Reverts your account to free Individual plan
- All your data stays accessible
- You lose access to paid features
Deleting your account:
- Permanently removes all data
- Cannot be undone
- Takes 30 days to complete
To delete your data permanently
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Privacy"
- Tap "Delete my account"
- Confirm deletion
Account deletion is permanent. We delete all stories, recordings, and personal data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account:
- All stories
- All recordings
- All transcripts
- All collections
- All personal information
- All collaborator connections
