Magic Link Issues
Magic Link Not Arriving
If you don't receive the email
- Wait 2-3 minutes
- Check spam/junk folder
- Check that you entered the correct email
- Request a new link
- Try a different email address
If links don't work
- Links expire after 15 minutes
- Links work only once
- Request a new link
- Check that you're clicking the full link (some email clients truncate)
Common issues
Wrong email address:
- Double-check spelling
- Check for extra spaces
- Verify the email address in your account
Spam folder:
- Check junk/spam folders
- Add memoryweaver.app to safe senders
- Check all folders
Email delay:
- Sometimes emails take 2-3 minutes
- Be patient before requesting another
- Too many requests can cause delays
Link expired:
- Links expire after 15 minutes for security
- Request a new link
- Act quickly once you receive it
Link already used:
- Each link works only once
- Request a new link if you need to log in again
Email provider issues
Some email providers have strict filters:
- Gmail: Usually works fine
- Outlook/Hotmail: Check junk folder
- Corporate email: May block automated emails
- Try a personal email if corporate blocks it
Request a new link
- Go to login page
- Enter your email
- Tap "Send magic link"
- Wait 2-3 minutes
- Check spam if not in inbox
Alternative solution
If magic links consistently fail:
- Try a different email provider
- Contact your IT department (if corporate email)
- Contact support@memoryweaver.app
