Entity Recognition

Entity Recognition (Coming Soon)

Entity recognition helps the AI understand people, places, and things across all your stories. The AI identifies these entities automatically and connects related stories together.

Available on: Storyteller+ and Family Plan

How it works

  1. As you record stories, the AI identifies key entities
  2. People: Family members, friends, colleagues
  3. Places: Cities, homes, landmarks, countries
  4. Things: Cars, pets, objects with significance
  5. The AI builds a knowledge graph across your stories
  6. This helps generate better follow-up questions

Example

You record: "My grandmother made the best apple pie. Every Sunday we'd visit her house in Michigan."

The AI identifies:

  • Person: Grandmother
  • Place: Michigan
  • Thing: Apple pie
  • Event: Sunday visits

Benefits

Better questions: When you record a new story mentioning your grandmother, the AI already knows about her and asks relevant questions like "Was this the same grandmother from Michigan who made apple pie?"

Connected stories: See all stories that mention the same person, place, or thing. Navigate your memories by entity.

Richer context: The AI understands relationships between entities and helps you build more complete narratives.

Family connections: On Family Plan, entity recognition works across all collaborators. When your sister mentions "Dad's old truck," the AI connects it to your stories about the same truck.

Privacy

Entities are private to your account or collection. They're never shared outside your chosen audience.

Launch timeline

Entity recognition launches during beta testing. Beta testers get early access. We'll announce when it's live.
