Deleting a Collection

To delete

1. Open the collection
2. Tap settings
3. Scroll to "Delete collection"
4. Confirm deletion

What happens

• The collection is deleted permanently
• Stories inside move to "Uncategorized"
• Stories are not deleted
• Collaborators lose access
• This action cannot be undone

Before deleting

Consider these alternatives:

• Archive the collection (keeps it but hides it)
• Remove collaborators (keeps collection private)
• Export stories to another collection

If you're a collaborator

You cannot delete collections. Only the collection owner (Family Plan coordinator) has deletion rights.

If you want to leave a shared collection:

1. Contact the collection owner
2. Ask them to remove you
3. Your stories remain in your account

Recovering deleted collections

Deleted collections cannot be recovered. The stories inside are not deleted and remain in your account, but the collection structure is permanently removed.
